Lorraine (Lemay) Coleman 86, a lifelong resident of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully at the Friendly Nursing Home on January 9th, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Anathole and Henrietta (Allard) Lemay and was predeceased by her only son Carl Lomberto. Lorraine is survived by one daughter Sue Amend and her husband Mark of Woonsocket, two sisters, Mary Mohamed and Estelle Mandeville also both of Woonsocket. She is also survived by her five adoring grandchildren, Cora, Sara, Shawn, Colleen and Rebecca along with her six great grandchildren Alice, Natalia, Kristina, Steven, Jayden and Alexandra all by whom she will be sorely missed.

Lorraine was special to everyone she knew, she had a way about her that made people feel happy and she lit up every room she walked in to with her feisty and spunky personality. She had a generous and contagious laughter that could have you laughing until you cried and of course, she always stood out in her very favorite color; Red. Whenever her family wanted to buy her gifts, she would always insist that it be something Red

Lorraine taught us all how to enjoy life, she loved people and loved being around her family and friends, she taught her grandchildren how to play cards, her favorite being Rummy, she loved Bingo, good food and most of all, more than anything, she loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
